Initial Music Video 3: Incubus - Drive
This music video uses a mixture of animation and real life, which almost reflect each other. This is a predominantly performance based music video, however a bond with the band is made by breaking down the fourth wall through direct eye contact with the camera. This is quite typical of a music video, as it creates a link between the band and the fans.

I'd suggest you link this music video to Goodwin's theory re voyeuristic shots of the lead singer. Note also the narcissism within the music video with the focus on self portrait. This would be a great music video to reference when discussing the notion of looking.
